Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner, so that means it’s time to bring on the margs and chips and salsa! Check out 3 of our favorite easy margarita recipes using the three different types of INSÓLITO Tequilas for Cinco de Mayo. 

CLASSIC BLANCO MARGARITA

Ingredients:

• 2 oz INSÓLITO Blanco Tequila 
• 1 oz Stirrings Triple Sec
• 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
• Salt for rim
• Lime for garnish

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients into a shaker and shake. Salt the rim of your glass, add ice, pour the shaker over ice, garnish with a lime, and enjoy.

SPICY AÑEJO MARGARITA

Ingredients: 

• 2 oz of INSÓLITO Añejo Tequila 
• 1 oz Stirrings Triple Sec
• 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
• 2 tbsp chile powder
• Salt for rim 
• 1 jalapeño for garnish

Instructions:

Combine all liquid ingredients and chile powder into a shaker and shake vigorously. Salt the rim if desired and strain the shaker into a glass over ice. Add jalepeño slices for garnish.

GRAPEFRUIT REPOSADO MARGARITA 

Ingredients:

• 2 oz of INSÓLITO Reposado Tequila 
• 1 oz Stirrings Triple Sec
• 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
• 1 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
• Salt for rim
• Lime for garnish

Instructions: 

Mix all liquid ingredients together into a shaker and shake thoroughly. Add salt to a glass rim, pour the shaker over ice, and garnish with lime. Enjoy!
