A Distinct and Recognizable Terroir: Whiskey That Can Only Come From Minden
The Mindel Mill brand is run by industry leaders in estate-made American Single Malt Whiskey space and has championed the ratification of this newest category of whiskey. Their efforts were finalized on December 18, 2024, after years of dedicated advocacy.
Estate whiskey is all grown, sourced, distilled, and bottled in a single location. No part of the production process is outsourced. That means Minden-grown grain meets Minden-natural waters to produce Minden Mill whiskey.
As they grow their own grains, they have to work with strains that can withstand the harsh weather and brief growing seasons of the high desert location. The result is a savory, nutty flavor profile that’s perfect for sipping or mixing.

Nevada Straight Bourbon Whiskey
This is their expression of an American classic, but with a subtle modern touch. This Bourbon is aged for four years and made from a mashbill of 60% corn, 20% rye, 10% oats, and 10% barley, resulting in a flavor profile that’s savory and balanced with notes of cola, cherry, vanilla, and spice.

Nevada Straight Rye Whiskey
This bottle is a celebration of all that the Carson Valley terroir has to offer. It’s distilled for four years and made from a mashbill that’s 80% rye, 10% wheat, and 10% malted barley. The distinct Rye whiskey offers a warm balance, hints of spice, and notes of candied fruits and orange peel.

American Single Malt Whiskey

This whiskey is aged for five years and made from 100% malted barley grown on the Minden Mill estate.
